"The seven"refers to Ahmad, Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Da’ud, An Nasa’i , At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.
{6} – As Sitta
"The six" refers to Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Da’ud, An Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah (All except Ahmad).
{5} – Al Khamsa
"The five" refers to all except Bukhari and Muslim. ie. Ahmed, Abu Da'ud, An-Nasa'i, At Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah
{4} – Al Arba'a
"The four" refers to Abu Da’ud, An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah (All except first 3).
{3} - Al Thalātha
"The three" refers to Abu Da’ud, An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi.
{2} – Al-Muttafaq 'alaih
"Agreed upon", refers to the acceptance and agreement by Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim. i.e. the Sahihain (Bukhari and Muslim).
